Invisalign Clear Aligners in Ashland, MA

Invisalign®
Comprehensive implant dentistry by an experienced & trusted team

Invisalign is an orthodontic treatment system that uses a series of custom-made clear plastic aligners to gradually move teeth into proper alignment. Each aligner is worn for approximately one to two weeks before being replaced with the next in the series. The aligners are removable, allowing patients to eat, brush, and floss normally throughout treatment.

Invisalign is suitable for most mild to moderate alignment concerns in adults and teenagers, including crowding, spacing, overbite, underbite, and crossbite. Dr. Almaawi will evaluate your bite and tooth positions at your consultation to confirm whether Invisalign is the appropriate treatment for your case. We welcome new patients from Framingham, Natick, Hopkinton, Holliston, Southborough, Milford, and across the MetroWest area. Invisalign is one of several cosmetic dentistry options we offer.

What the Treatment Process Involves?

Treatment begins with a digital scan of your teeth using an intraoral scanner, which produces a precise 3D model. This data is used to map out your full treatment plan, showing the expected tooth movements at each stage. Your custom aligners are then fabricated and provided as a series. Progress check-ins are scheduled every 6 to 8 weeks to ensure teeth are moving as planned and to provide the next set of aligners.

Treatment length varies by case complexity but typically ranges from 12 to 18 months. Retainers are worn after treatment is complete to maintain the final position.

We offer financing through Cherry and Proceed Finance, with flexible monthly payment options. Ask about current new patient offers at your free consultation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Am I a candidate for Invisalign?

Most adults and teenagers with mild to moderate alignment issues are suitable candidates. More complex bite corrections may require traditional braces or additional appliances. Dr. Almaawi will assess your case at a free consultation and give you an honest recommendation.

How long does treatment take?

Most cases are completed in 12 to 18 months, though simple cases can be shorter. The timeline depends on how much tooth movement is required and how consistently the aligners are worn. Aligners should be worn 20 to 22 hours per day for treatment to progress on schedule.

Are Invisalign aligners comfortable?

The aligners are smooth and custom-fitted. Some mild pressure or awareness of the aligner is normal for the first day or two after switching to a new set, as this reflects active tooth movement. This typically resolves quickly.
